Leah began her career in Charleston, SC. For nine years, she was an Administrator of both a single and multi-specialty ASC. Since 2004, when Leah founded Surgical Management Associates, LLC, she has been involved in consultation and management of 10 surgery centers and 7 physician practices.
Leah has been active in the Mississippi Ambulatory Surgery Center Association (MASCA) since its founding and participates in state-level lobbying efforts. In addition, Leah is an active member of the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association for decades. She has served on the Government Advocacy Task Force and participates in Federal lobbying efforts sponsored by ASCA.
Leah promotes the importance of furthering education throughout the ASC industry. Some of her speaking engagements include MASCA, the Gulf States ASC Annual Meeting, the TN ASC Association annual meeting and the GA-SC Semi-Annual ASC meeting.

Diane brings more than 36 years of clinical, administrative and operational experience to Surgical Management Associates, LLC.
After her retirement from the U.S. Air Force Nurse Corps, Diane built and ran a large
multi-specialty ASC. It was the first ASC on the Mississippi Gulf Coast to be operational following Hurricane Katrina.
Diane is an active AAAHC/CMS surveyor and has surveyed hundreds of ASCs across the U.S. and abroad. She has performed mock surveys for several ASCs and has over 20 years of ASC consulting experience. Most recently, Diane has helped develop an ASC awaiting AAAASF deemed status.
